We know that unexpected events can occur, which is why Strong Foundation offers support through our emergency assistance program.

The Emergency Assistance Program was created to assist working individuals and their families in the River Region who have faced unbudgeted and unexpected expenses, layoffs, unexpected income loss, or financial hardships.
What type of assistance could be available with your donations?
In 2025, we were able to distribute $30,000 to help members of the community. In a drive to continue this much needed support in any way we have to raise the funds.
If you desire to help members of the community who are standing in the face of financial struggles, RIGHT NOW, please give under the donate tab.
Your donation will help cover:
Catastrophic Event including events such as fire, flood, illness/injury of the employed person or member of employed person's immediate family
Declared Disaster includes events caused by acts of nature where the federal government has officially declared the event a disaster.
Unbudgeted Necessary Expense includes needs pertaining primarily to shelter and utilities.
